I know that you know what your name looks like, especially since most of us use it daily on permission slips, checkbooks, letters, emails. However, have you ever wondered what else it could look like? This is a fun craft, especially for kids.
You will need:
- Cardboard paper
- Marker/pen/crayon
- Scissors
- Glue, optional
Directions:
1. Fold a piece of paper in half lengthwise.
2. Place with the open end at the top.
3. Draw your name in cursive curse at the bottom of the paper (at the creased edge). DM Tip: If there is a letter that would go below the line (y, z, j, f, p, g, q), make sure you write the letter above the folded edge!
4. Cut around both sides of the crayon. Make sure that part of the letter is intact on the folded edge.
5. Open the paper and smooth.
6. If desired, glue to another piece of paper. Make sure to glue the crayon side down. Add more decorative cut-outs and designs.
