My kids cannot resist grabbing Christmas lights. In fact, one year we only put up a small 3 foot tree. We figured if they pulled it over, it wouldn't hurt them. If you have kiddos like mine, try making a Christmas light garland for the tree, mantle, etc.
You will need:
- Craft foam
- Binder clips
- String, twine, yarn, etc.
- Scissors
Directions:
1. Draw a light bulb shape on the craft foam and cut out. (I have stencils below.)
2. Attach binder clip to top of shape.
3. Squeeze silver handles to remove.

Pinch together, slide out |
4. Slide lights one at a time onto the string. Tie each one on.

Tie onto the string/yarn/twine |
5. Wrap around tree, hang on mantle or wall, ect.
