1. Wash the fruit and cut into thin slices.
2. Use a flower cookie cutter in the middle of the apple (or pear) circle and cut out the
rind.
For the carrots (I saw these online and had to try them!):
1. Cut off the ends and peel the carrot.
2. Cut notches into the sides of the carrot, at about a 45 degree angle. Make
sure not to cut all the way through!
3. Repeat all around the carrot.
4. Cut carrot into thin slices.
You could even use thin slices of melon and other kinds of fruits and vegetables (like cucumbers) to make even more flower shaped snacks!
