I put up some movie themed decorations that I had bought awhile ago from a party store. (You can also find them here). I spread out a blanket and threw a few pillows down for seating. We had already eaten, so I just placed out some snacks and drinks. For the pretzels and popcorn, I used the Snack Caddy that I had bought when I saw it on clearance at Target a few weeks ago. You could also serve hot dogs, soft pretzels, popcorn in individual popcorn bags, boxes of candy, cotton candy (can buy it prepackaged at dollar stores or party stores in bags).
I was outnumbered, so we ended up watching Teen Titans, but the kids had a blast. My youngest is now in love with movie time. Whenever he wants to watch a show, he asks if we can have "movie theater" again and drags out the blankets and pillows to watch his shows.

Cute idea! I bought the kids a huge bean bag for x-mas last year for just such occasions. But, my little one may be too little. Maybe I'll do this for "Dora" time...
