Our lunches tend to be ham or peanut butter/jelly sandwiches, which get pretty boring. Every once in awhile I like to surprise the kids with something a little different for lunch. Different shaped sandwiches make a great way to liven up lunch! I found this puzzle sandwich cutter at the grocery store last year and the kids love it. I've seen butterfly, heart, and dinosaur sandwich cutters at the store too. If your store doesn't have any (or you don't want to buy one more thing you have to find a place for and store), just use any cookie cutters you may have on hand!
Other ideas are to serve sandwiches on an English muffin, a bagel, a tortilla in a roll-up, or grill to make a panini. It doesn't take much to make lunch a little different!Amazon sells a few different kinds of sandwich cutters, but here's a link to a puzzle sandwich cutter.
