Happy Easter, everyone!
The other night we were talking to our children after meal time about the meaning of Easter. My husband asked them what Easter was about. My kids of course came back with eggs and the Easter bunny. So hubby tries to explain to my oldest that we celebrate because Jesus died to unlock the gates of heaven. My oldest interrupts to say, "But Jesus can't die before Easter, he'll miss all the fun! He won't get any eggs!" Ah, kids.
