Dinosaur Cupcakes

I LOVE new cake pans! I'm like a kid in a toy store when I see a new one. My mom found me this awesome dinosaur muffin/cupcake pan. It has a brontosaurus, T-Rex, triceratops, and a stegosaurus mold. The kids loved them!

For the T-Rex, I covered the outside of the cupcake with icing to look like it was "buried". The brontosaurus was covered in pink candy melt. For the other cupcakes, I used decorating icing to trace an outline of a shape and added on some sprinkles for spots on the triceratops.


HINTS: If you make these, make sure to grease AND flour the pan before you fill the molds. After filling the molds, gently tap on counter to get the air bubbles out (which I forgot to do and my dinos had air bubble holes in them).
